First of all we artists are very appreciative of things we get from people. It may be due to the fact that we see things more deeply than most people, therefore we can appreciate the wonder of every little thing.
I mentioned in an earlier post that anything we receive that focuses on art is most appreciated. That's because it gives us a way of letting people know what we do without having to vocally bring it up.
A t-shirt with a picture of one our favorite artist on it or one of their works, a pair of socks that showcases a work from one of the great masters or a keychain shaped like a pallet with paint and paintbrushes on it are great for starting a conversation about what we do.
When you look at the mindset of an artist you will find that it is for the appreciation for the things and people around them.
